NEAT/MHEA Energy Audit Software Course
Brief course Overview
The objective of this course is to familiarize weatherization workers and/or agencies with Weatherization Assistant. Emphasis will be placed on working as many scenarios as possible in order to increase student’s comfort level in using the software.

NEAT/MHEA is the most widely used energy audit software within the Weatherization Assistance Program, and plays a key role in the production of the initial energy audit and work order. The NEAT/MHEA Energy Audit Software Course enables students to effectively utilize the software and better understand the elements of a successful audit.

Apple Energy Trainer
Ron Rodriguez currently serves as a senior consultant for Apple Energy Group in Austin, Texas. He provides Apple Energy Group’s weatherization training for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. Ron has professional experience with thirty years in the construction industry, twenty-nine years experience in weatherization and building science for energy use as well as twenty years classroom and field experience in weatherization and energy efficiency protocols.
